BackSEND in Focus Week
As part of SEND in Focus Week, we have welcomed some visitors to see our SLEP base in action and how we use Colourful Semantics and Word Aware to support learning. Today we had the pleasure of Emma Day from Fobbing Pre-school and Councillor John Cecil. They observed how the children used Colourful Semantics to recall their trip to Little Lodge Garden Centre and went on a tour to see the progression of Colourful Semantics across the key stages looking at the different displays. Our word for today was 'perennial' which, the children learned from our visit, means the plants will come back every year.
